Man Utd ready to make £25million offer for Liverpool star

Silly season is well underway for Manchester United, and the transfer window doesn’t officially open for another month yet. Louis van Gaal is clearly eyeing plenty of deals in terms of ins and outs in the off-season, but one move you didn’t expect is a bid for Raheem Sterling.

According to The Mirror, United are readying a £25million move for the 20-year old winger who is seeking a future away from Anfield. Its expected that Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester City are all interested in signing the former QPR man.

Despite his Liverpool ties, there is no doubting Sterling’s talent. He is one of the best young players England has to offer at the moment, and although it’d be hard to persuade Liverpool into selling to us, if he wants to come here then we should go in for him.

The only problem would be the huge wages he will undoubtedly command, and you’d imagine it’d cost United an extra five or ten million in terms of a transfer fee if Liverpool are going to sell to us.

Would Sterling be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.

  1. Manure know what they can do with their derogatory offer and it involves sticking it up a part of a certain Dutchman’s anatomy pound coin by painful pound coin where it hurts.
