Man Utd set to make big money move for Serie A striker

Louis van Gaal and Manchester United are already preparing for next season, with the boss looking at potential transfer targets and talking to clubs to take some of the players he sees as surplus to requirements off his hands.

One are Manchester United will have to strengthen in is the main striker spot, and reports in Italy suggest that the club are keen to bring Napoli’s hit man, Gonzalo Higuain.

The 27-year old Argentinian has been banging in the goals once again for Napoli, scoring 25 goals and adding 10 assists for the side that are looking likely to finish fourth in Italy this term.

With Radamel Falcao returning to Monaco, and Robin van Persie ageing, Wayne Rooney will need some help in terms of goalscoring. Gonzalo Higuain is a natural finisher, and for me he looks built to play in the Premier League.

Would Higuain be a good striker? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
