Manchester United’s injury-hit squad is once again easing up, as Louis van Gaal confirmed that Adnan Januzaj is back in first-team training and could feature against Stoke City on New Years Day. The 19-year old has been out with an illness, rather than an injury.
“Januzaj was ill and you have to recover from your illness, not from your tiredness. Maybe it’s worse to recover from illness.” Louis van Gaal said.
Hopefully our Belgian starlet can start impressing in training and hopefully break into the starting line-up on a regular basis. After bursting onto the scene last season it has been a much quieter campaign for him thus far, and he’ll be hoping to earn himself some starts as we go into the second half of the season.
