Manchester United’s Dutch master Louis van Gaal is known for his intense training and high-pressure sessions in preparation to a game, and we all know just how keen he is on implementing his philosophy and making his players better.
One player who felt the brunt of that was James Wilson, according to the usually reliable Andy Mitten.
Back in February, Louis van Gaal reportedly admonished the young striker for dribbling in training. Now to me, this seems extremely harsh, but who am I to question the Iron Tulip’s methods when they seem to be working?
Maybe its just a coincidence, but we haven’t seen an awful lot of Wilson recently. Whether thats down to injury remains to be seen, but it does seem odd that he hasn’t featured much, especially given the poor form of Radamel Falcao and the constant injuries to Robin van Persie.
That said, the young Wilson is still obviously one of the hottest strikers on our books, and hopefully given the increased game time due to the Champions League next term, we’ll get to see more of our star man.
