Man Utd striker to return to club in summer after unsuccessful loan

Javier Hernandez left for pastures new in the summer, as a loan move to Real Madrid on transfer deadline day went through. Since then, the Manchester United man hasn’t really featured for Carlo Ancelotti, and a return to Old Trafford this summer looks likely, according to The Express.

To many, a loan move to Real was never the best idea for the 26-year old because playing time was alway going to be limited. That did eventually prove to be the case as he has to compete with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema for a spot in the side.

Who knows, the Mexican could come back to the club and get given his chance by Van Gaal. The Iron Tulip isn’t happy with the lack of pace up front at the moment and Chicharito will certainly give him that as well as a deadly finish inside the box. It’d be great to see him return and make an impact.

Failing that, Van Gaal could sell Javier Hernandez permanently and use that transfer money and free wage space elsewhere.
