Manchester United are known to actively be pursuing players in the hope that they can bring in some world class names before the January window slams shut. The newest name on the list is Wolfsburg’s Kevin de Bruyne, formerly of Chelsea.
The Daily Star suggest that United are keen on bringing the 23-year old prospect back to England, and partnering him up with his compatriot Marouane Fellaini in the middle of the park.
Big things were expected of De Bruyne when he made the move to Chelsea a few years ago, but he never really got given his chance at the club due to an abundance of talented attacking midfielders.
The Star go on to add that Arsenal are also interested in his signature, but the Belgian starlet is happy in Germany at the moment and a move back to the Premier League is unlikely at this time.
