Despite refusing to sell David de Gea all summer-long, it finally looks as though that saga is over with the Spaniard all-set for a move back to his home town and country, after Manchester United and Real Madrid agree a fee for the 25-year old.
Coming the other way is the Costa Rican who goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who according to reports is currently undergoing his Manchester United medical in Spain as we speak – because he didn’t have enough time to fly into the United Kingdom to complete it here.
Navas, 28, seemed reluctant to leave Real Madrid but a hike in wages and some slight persuasion from the board has seemingly changed his mind. Hopefully he can come in and slot nicely into the team from the off, as the lads need that experienced man who can infect the squad with that calmness from the back.
