Man Utd target pair of World Cup winners

Louis van Gaal’s intentions on strengthening the Manchester United squad this summer are clear, with the Iron Tulip already making a move for his Dutch compatriot Memphis Depay in a deal thought to be worth £25million.

United could be ready to make their next couple of moves, with Goal.com reporting that Sami Khedira is a high priority for the club this summer.

The German international is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, and is thought to have a whole host of clubs chasing his signature.

At 28, he still has a few more years at the highest level left in him, and there aren’t many better holding midfielders in the game at the moment.

There are also reports suggesting that Thomas Muller has had a fall-out with current Bayern manager Pep Guardiola, and he could leave Bavaria this summer.

Muller himself has fuelled that fire by taking to social media to reaffirm just how good of a relationship he has with our current boss Van Gaal.

Thomas Muller would be a really exciting signing to make. He scores goals for the fun, is strong on the ball and can create chances too. He would certainly cost a bit though, and prising him away from his hometown club would be tough.

Would these two be good signings? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
