Manchester United are looking increasingly likely to lose the services of David de Gea this summer, with the Spaniard expected to opt for a move back to his home town as Real Madrid are likely to come calling when the current campaign ends.
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United are eyeing a move for Asmir Begovic, who could be available in a cut-price deal from Stoke.
£8Million would be enough to prise the Bosnian away from The Potters, with the club themselves offering the shot-stopper out for transfer.
Signing Begovic as our new number one would be slightly disappointing to be honest. He isn’t anywhere near the level of De Gea, and especially if other keepers like Petr Cech and Hugo Lloris are available, it’d be annoying if we opted for the cheaper option in this instance.
