Man Utd to make shock move for West Ham striker

Manchester United Football Club have already sold Angelo Henriquez, chosen not to renew Radamel Falcao’s loan deal and seemingly gotten Robin van Persie off the books permanently, so Louis van Gaal will be looking for a new 20+ goal a season man.

According to the Daily Mail, United are interested in bringing West Ham’s Diafra Sakho to Old Trafford this summer, in a shock move for the 25-year old Senegal international.

Sakho made a good start to life in England, linking up nicely with Ener Valencia and scoring a hatful of goals at the start of the season, but is the six-foot man really what United need?

Manchester United do need a new striker, but I’m hoping we have our sights set higher than Diafra Sakho. He had a solid debut season for West Ham, scoring ten Premier League goals, but we need a striker who has pace.

Would Sakho be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.

  1. Get a life Manure: Whoever you buy the club is Millions in debt Lang Baal Louis won’t be there too much longer and who want’s to join a club that is obviously in decline

    • In decline or always a bad team. Champions League or never a chance. The question you should be asking is, why wouldn’t anyone want to leave West Ham for United?
