Man utd to move in for Bayern Munich’s star striker

Manchester United’s star-studdent front line have been struggling to provide goals for the team throughout this season, with Robin van Persie the only player in double figures in terms of goals with 10. Now currently injured, and Radamel Falcao unlikely to stay on, the hunt for a new striker begins.

According to The Express, Manchester United want Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski to enter Old Trafford in place of Radamel Falcao. The Polish striker has scored 13 goals in 30 appearances for his new side this year, and has been Pep Guardiola’s go-to striker all season-long.

With it being his first season, I find it very hard to see how United are going to be able to prise him away from Germany, and especially for the £30million fee being mentioned in the media.

The 26-year old still has his best years ahead of him, and he would be a superb signing. He has the physicality to compete in the Premier League and I’d like to see him come in, but I just cannot see this one happening.

Would Lewandowski be a good signing? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
