Manchester United’s summer incomings haven’t been anywhere near as their outgoings this winter window so far, but that could all be about to change as Louis van Gaal tries to tempt Juan Cuadrado to Old Trafford, according to Sport Mediaset.
Chelsea were believed to be in talks with Fiorentina for the Columbian’s signature, but those talks have seemingly stalled over the past few days.
That gives United the chance to swoop in and make their move for the speedy winger, and they’ll look to gain an edge in the deal by offering them Adnan Januzaj on loan.
Signing the 26-year old Cuadrado would be an excellent move for Manchester United. The winger would suit Louis van Gaal’s style and philosophy, and he also has the ability to play as a wing-back, if the need arises.
