Man Utd to use De Gea as bait to sign Bale – report

It looks like Manchester United have finally resigned to the fact that losing David de Gea is now an inevitability rather than a possibility. Now their task is to recoup whatever they can in terms of a transfer fee for the Spaniard, and try and use it to the clubs advantage.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are preparing to use David de Gea as bait to try and sign Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale.

De Gea has turned into one of the worlds best whilst at Old Trafford, whereas Gareth Bale has definitely furthered his game in Spain.

However this deal seems like a good fit for all involved, with De Gea ready to move back to his homeland and Bale getting booed almost on a weekly basis at the Bernabeu.
