Manchester United are set to lose the services of Radamel Falcao this summer, with El Tigre seriously under performing since his arrival at Old Trafford back in August.
With the 4-3-3 formation in use, only one striker starts for United, but with the Champions League once again on the horizon, Louis van Gaal will need another proven striker at his disposal.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United are keeping a close eye on the Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentinian is having a fine season in Italy, scoring 24 goals in all competitions.
At 27, he is approaching the prime of his career and there is no doubt that he will score goals anywhere given the opportunity. I’d love to see him come to the Premier League and Manchester United, as its a league that’ll suit him really well.
