Man Utd unlikely to sign Benzema as agent speaks out

With Robin van Persie looking increasingly likely to leave, and Radamel Falcao already back in Moncao, Manchester United now need a top striker to replace the goals left by those two. However it looks as though Karim Benzema won’t be that man.

“What is Karim going to do in Manchester? He’s happy in Madrid. He doesn’t want to leave. Benzema would only leave if Real Madrid told him he was surplus to requirements, because he isn’t going to leave of his own accord.” Benzema’s agent said.

“Karim wants to see out his contract. He wants to retire at Real Madrid.”

Sadly it looks as though we won’t be seeing Benzema in the red of United anytime soon, unless he is pushed out by Madrid themselves.

The French striker is that out-and-out goalscorer we need in our side, as Wayne Rooney hasn’t been scoring as many goals as we’d have liked.
