Manchester United have recently emerged as favourites to sign Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin, and today that interest has been made concrete, as Sky Sports News claim Louis van Gaal is ‘very interested’ in bringing the 25-year old to Old Trafford this transfer window.
The news was broken this lunchtime, and since then United have sailed right to the top of the betting to land their man, as Schneiderlin looks to move to a club who are playing Champions League football this season.
Manchester United can offer him that, and the Frenchman will be looking to make a huge impact immediately, proving his worth at the highest level and trying to force his way into the French national team.
His Premier League experience will prove vital, and he would give us that box-to-box midfielder that we’ve been missing over the last few years.
