Man Utd want Croatian after Benzema snub

Manchester United have a huge summer transfer window ahead, as the club look to bolster their attacking options after Radamel Falcao returned to Monaco and a move away for Robin van Persie looks increasingly likely.

After Karim Benzema admitted he would like to stay in Madrid, United have turned their attentions elsewhere and according to The Sun, the club are targeting Mario Mandzukic.

The big Croatian is currently playing his football for Atletico in Spain, and is after a move away as he seeks a new challenge.

However I don’t think he is good enough for United at this moment in time, and he isn’t getting any younger at 32.

Personally I would like to see a move for Alexandre Lacazette although he will cost a lot more, but that would be repaid back in terms of a huge goals tally or a much better transfer fee.
