Man Utd want to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo this summer

Manchester United are clearly intent on bringing at least one more marquee signing through the Old Trafford doors this morning, and Louis van Gaal is setting his sights as high as possible according to todays paper reports, as a move for Cristiano Ronaldo is on the horizon.

The Manchester Evening News say that Manchester United could be about to break their club-record transfer fee with a stunning move for the 30-year old Ronaldo.

Ronaldo himself is thought to be unhappy with life under Rafael Benitez, despite the Spanish manager having yet to take charge of a competitive game at the Bernabeu.

It would be fantastic if we can get Ronaldo back, but I just cannot see this deal happening. Time and time again he has reiterated his desire to stay in Spain and break records there, and I just cannot see him moving on anytime soon.

  1. No, because he clearly does not want to return and i don’t want Utd to make fools of themselves trying, especially now that the fat spanish waiter would love to make Utd look idiots.
