Manchester United’s new manager knows exactly how he wants to do things at his new club, and slowly but surely the Iron Tulip’s famous philosophy is being put in place by the inspirational Dutchman.
One position in which the club need strengthening in terms of depth is the midfield, and United have clearly identified this as an area which will definitely be added to this summer.
According to The Telegraph, Louis van Gaal wants a senior figure in the middle of the park, and the same paper report that Bastian Schweinsteiger is high on the agenda.
Talks between the two parties are believed to have taken place already, with the German midfielder unsure about his long-term future under Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich.
Schweinsteiger has always seemed like an excellent fit for Manchester United Football Club, and despite being in his latter years he would definitely be a superb acquisition if United can pull this one off.
