Man Utd want to sign Premier League striker, he wants move to happen

Manchester United have lacked any real goalscoring starlet this season, with Wayne Rooney our top scorer barely into double figures. Radamel Falcao has been misfiring since day one, and Robin van Persie has been troubled with injury.

According to Ian Abrahams, Manchester United are ready to move for the out-of-contract Danny Ings this summer, and he himself wants a move to Old Trafford.

For me Ings would be the perfect fit, we need a player who is happy to sit on the bench and be part of a squad rotation system for the most part, but when called upon can come in and score goals.

The 22-year old has certainly proven he can do that in the Premier League for strugglers Burnley, and given better support in and around him he could well score more goals.

Danny Ings has been the best lone striker to turn up to Old Trafford in a visiting side so far this season, as he tore our defence apart for the majority of the game, and he left with one goal.

This move has to be a complete no-brainer, getting someone English, young and goal-hungry on a free transfer is well worth the risk, and he wouldn’t command astronomic wages either.
