Jose Mourinho is already making his intentions clear for Manchester United going forward, as he looks to get rid of the dead wood and mould the squad to suit his style. One man who hasn’t featured at all under our new boss is Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Now the latest reports say Jose Mourinho is ready to take almost a 70% loss on the sale of the influential German, as he is ready to let him leave for just £2million.
The German joined United under Van Gaal in a deal worth £6million just last summer, and made an excellent start to life at Old Trafford. However, injury certainly hampered his second half of the season, and now Jose is obviously not a fan of the iconic midfielder.
You feel United could certainly have gone about this transfer in a much more professional manner, though. Jose has forced a game legend to train with the youngsters over the last month or so, and Schweinsteiger has remained the consummate professional throughout.
