Manchester United have completed a lot of outgoing transfer business in this window, mainly loan moves for the younger players who need that valuable experience. Next in line for a loan move away from the club is Nick Powell, after his season-long deal to Leicester was cut short.
Steve Bruce’s Hull City look the likely destination for Powell, according to The Mirror, as the former United legend looks to bolster his squad for a tough second half of the season.
Powell made a great start to his United career, scoring on his first-team debut and then getting a decent run in the side – including a full Champions League debut.
Since then it has gone downhill quickly for the 20-year old, after a series of serious injuries and unsuccessful loan move have halted his development. He is still young enough to make a real impact at the club, but he’ll have to stay injury-free and put in the work.
