Manchester United may not have a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic signed and sealed just yet… That’s according to German media outlet Sportbild, translated via The Metro. They say that Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign the 34-year-old striker.
Ibrahimovic is out of contract this summer, with a whole host of clubs thought to be chasing his signature. manchester United are believed to be the favourites at this moment in time. With Sky Sports going as far as saying personal terms have already been agreed.
However, these latest reports will be concerning to Jose Mourinho and Manchester United, because Bayern Munich is probably the more attractive proposition at the moment.
The German side can offer him Champions League football whereas Manchester United cannot, but regular playing time would be much easier for him at Old Trafford.
In terms of wages, you’d imagine Manchester United would be able to blow Bayern Munich out of the water in that regard, but we’ll have to wait and see until after the Euro’s.
