Manchester United agree deal for sixth summer signing

Manchester United’s transfer window is going through a bit of a lull at the moment, and despite a 1-0 victory over Tottenham on Saturday, its clear that the club still needs new signings if Louis van Gaal is going to guide his side to the title.

According to the French media outlet Le10Sport, Manchester United have already sealed a deal for their sixth signing, but its not who you may think.

They say that the 29-year old central midfielder Lucas Biglia is on the way to Old Trafford for a £17.7million transfer fee, and the player and United have also agreed personal terms.

This would be a bit of an odd one. You feel that we have midfielders in abundance now, so unless we’re going to lose one of them, then this deal makes no sense and our attentions should certainly be focused on other areas like the midfield or up front.

  1. If we have midfield players in abundance, why should we focus on other areas like midfield? Fairly ridiculous comment! We should concentrate on central defence and striker. Simple.
