Manchester United Football Club has officially announced their destination for their 2018 pre-season tour. As expected, the Red Devils will once again head across the pond to the United States of America.
So far, just the two games have been confirmed, with the Red Devils due to take on both Club America and the San Jose Earthquakes, although more games will be announced.
The last few years have seen United take part in the International Champions Cup, pitting the Old Trafford club against the best of the best, so hopefully, our participation in that will be confirmed soon.

For United, if it makes money it makes sense. Jetting to America is where the most tickets will be sold, it’s where the most merchandise will be flogged, so it’s a trend that I fully expect to continue for the next few years at the very least.
At the end of the day, these are just the warm-up fixtures before the serious stuff starts, but I’ve always enjoyed watching pre-season games as it’s always an excellent opportunity to see our new players in action for the first time.
The only issue is that for us fans here in Europe, it means a few late nights (or early mornings!).
