Manchester United’s Mexican goalscoring sensation Javier Hernandez looks set for an Old Trafford exit in the summer, according to Goal. Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in The Little Pea, who has found his chances limited under David Moyes this season. The 25-year old has made just 28 appearances in all competitions, most off the substitute bench.
Goal claim that Hernandez has spoken to Moyes at least three times about the unhappiness caused due to his lack of game time, and a move away from the club looks beneficial for all involved parties.
Javier Hernandez is worried about a lack of fitness as the World Cup approaches, and it is thought he is unhappy about being dropped for the Bayern Munich game, after scoring a goal in each of the two league games previous to that huge tie.
To me though, it looks like his head is somewhere else already. Chicharito is usually very passionate in his celebrations, and the last couple of goals he has scored have provoked subdued celebrations, which is rather unusual. With two years left on his Manchester United deal, Hernandez will still command a decent transfer fee, so at least we’ll get something back where thats concerned.
Atletico Madrid really have a knack of picking world class strikers. Sergio Aguero, Diego Forlan, Diego Costa, Falcao and David Villa are all on their list of recent strikers, and it looks as though Javier Hernandez could be their new front man come the summer.
