Manchester United board lay groundwork for huge £90million summer transfer

Manchester United Football Club have been chasing a marquee signing since Louis van Gaal arrived at Old Trafford, and up until this point, we have failed to lure any huge names in. However that may be about to change and it could be one of the biggest transfer dealings in the history of football.

The Times say that Gareth Bale has grown increasingly unhappy with life at the Santiago Bernabeu, and he could well be tempted away from Real Madrid if the right offer comes in.

Bale is without doubt one of the best players in the game, and Edward Woodward and the rest of the Manchester United board have been laying the groundwork for a transfer to bring the Welsh Wizard in.

There would be a huge hit in terms of the Manchester United bank account, but that is something the club don’t really have to worry about, especially considering the huge TV deal that is coming to fruition this summer.
