Manchester United host Liverpool in their next Premier League game, in what is always one of the most eagerly anticipated clashes throughout the whole campaign. This year we have this fixture early, as it comes in the fifth game week.
Ahead of the game Manchester United have received somewhat of a double boost, as Liverpool will be without two of their star players.
Philippe Coutinho is suspended after being sent off in their dramatic 3-0 loss at home to West Ham, so he’ll miss the game despite being match-fit.
On the other hand, we’ve learnt that Daniel Sturridge, who was expecting to be fit for the game, has now been ruled out according to the Daily Mail. Which probably means Christian Benteke will continue as the lone striker, with Roberto Firmino in behind.
Hopefully Manchester United can take advantage of these small boosts. They’ll be no doubt the Old Trafford crowd will get behind the home side and hopefully secure a big victory against the fiercest of rivals.
