Manchester United call in pest control to deal with mice problem

Manchester United have had problems with mice at Old Trafford numerous times in the past few years, and an infestation seems to have happened once again, according to SportsMail, who have seen a recent hygiene report conducted at the ground.

United have had this problem in 2006, 2010, and 2012, making this the fourth time within the space of nine years they have been infested with rodents. It is believed that the animals have been spotted in the North and South stands, and the club confirm they undergo ‘weekly checks’ for the pesky little creatures.

“They’re a nightmare and they are struggling to get rid of them.” A club source said.

The club believe the problem is linked with the canal side location, with mice spotted in the canteen, and even in the away dressing room of Burton Albion in 2006.
