Manchester United Football Club are very close to completing the signature of Ivan Perisic, according to Miguel Delaney. On Sunday evening, the Chief football writer for The Independent tweeted out the news, before adding that he believes the Croatia international will be a good signing for the Red Devils.
Things certainly seem to be moving in the right direction, with Inter Milan reportedly agreeing a fee for a potential replacement for Perisic.
Perisic now very close. Will be good signing. Crosses the ball almost five times more than United's current wingers – needed with Lukaku!

At first, I genuinely wasn’t all that excited at the prospect of signing the Milan winger, but now, I certainly can see why Jose Mourinho wants to bring him in.
Although we have plenty of talent in our squad, we don’t have that real wide man who’ll whip deadly crosses into the box. Instead, we have a lot of footballers who prefer to cut inside and take a shot. Perisic will bring in a different dimension, and Romelu Lukaku would thrive off that.
I guess now it’s down to Edward Woodward to negotiate the best deal with the Serie A club. which won’t be easy because they certainly seem to be intent on keeping him away from our grasps this summer.
