Manchester United put in one of their best performances of the season last night, but despite that, you still feel that Louis van Gaal’s job is far from safe. The Dutchman has been struggling since the beginning of the season, and rumours about a new man coming in seem to be appearing in the press all the time.
The latest rumour coming out of Italy suggests that Manchester United and Jose Mourinho are close to agreeing a deal which will see the Portuguese man take over as boss at Old Trafford.
There is no specific date on the tweet posted, but you’d imagine Louis van Gaal will remain in charge until the end of the season.
However, I wouldn’t expect United to finalise any deal before the current campaign ends, because if the Iron Tulip can keep his team playing like they did last night, why on earth would they fire him?
@SkySport Mourinho-Manchester United: accordo vicinissimo. Che derby con il City di Guardiola!
