Manchester United could be about to give a medical to one of the best strikers on the planet this week. That’s according to the Daily Telegraph, who say that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move to Manchester United is extremely close to completion.
They add that a deal for the influential Swede could be announced as early as Friday – which would certainly please the Manchester United fans as they’ve become slightly uneasy after it has been so long since the Eric Bailly deal went through.
Some more contractual details could have been released too, with the Telegraph also stating that Ibrahimovic will have a one-year contract, with the option for a further twelve months if the club so choose.
Finally, a deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan could also closely follow Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s transfer – in what is certainly a mightily exciting time for fans of the red half of the city.
Work is certainly needed to improve the current squad, and adding both Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be a huge statement of intent.
