Manchester United Football Club are on the verge of sealing their second major transfer under Jose Mourinho, and it’s a massive one. According to Sky Sports News, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will undergo his Manchester United medical after the European Championships.
This is huge. Manchester United have already brought Eric Bailly to the club, and to bring in Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be frightening for Premier League defences.
In terms of goal output, the 34-year-old found the back of the net fifty times last term, which is his best ever season in his professional career.
Manchester United are taking a huge gamble by bringing in a man of his age, but you’d have to say it is one definitely worth taking, because the potential rewards from him are enormous.
All that said, it would only be a short-term fix at best due to his age, but what a signing it could turn out to be.
The English media outlet add that the influential Swede will sign a one-year contract at the club after personal terms have been agreed.
