Manchester United could be about to add another new face to the squad ahead of the big kick-off in two weeks time. Jose Mourinho has already brought in three tremendous players, with a move for Pogba also looking close. However, his work is far from done.
Reports coming out of Brazil say that Jose Mourinho is ready to bring in AS Monaco right-back, Fabinho. The 22-year-old Brazilian has previously worked with Jose Mourinho during their time at Real Madrid, and our new boss is a huge admirer of him.
United do have plenty of right-back options, including Matteo Darmian, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Antonio Valencia, but it doesn’t seem Mourinho is all that convinced by any of them.
In terms of his style of play, Fabinho is a physical player who does have plenty of pace, and a real intelligence and know-how when it comes to reading the game. He’d certainly be an upgrade for our starting line-up, and the squad as a whole.
