Manchester United have just confirmed that Javier Hernandez is to join Real Madrid on a season-long loan, with an option to buy at the end of the deal next summer. The 26-year old had an unbelievable couple of years at United, before he lost form, confidence and his place in the team following Robin van Persie’s arrival.
Costing only £6million, Javier Hernandez was the most lethal finisher at United since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Scoring 59 goals in 154 appearances.
Chicharito will leave United with a place firmly in the hearts of the Old Trafford faithful, after he was at the heart of two massive title wins whilst in Manchester.
Thanks for everything, Chicharito!
