Manchester United head to Germany to take on Wolfsburg tomorrow night, with Louis van Gaal’s side needing a win to secure safe passage through to the knockout stage of the competition. Ahead of the game, United’s task hasn’t been made any easier, with seven key players missing with injury.
Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw are long-term casualties, so they’ll obviously miss the game, but the other five are certainly concerning injuries.
Marcos Rojo remains sidelined with a shoulder problem, Phil Jones’ injury hasn’t been revealed whatsoever, with Ander Herrera having a hamstring issue.
Wayne Rooney is also missing through a reported illness, and Morgan Schneiderlin suffered an injury towards the end of the first half against West Ham – which is another huge problem.
Injuries mean Rooney, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Jones, Rojo, Valencia and Shaw miss the trip. #mufc
