Manchester United Football Club are considering a move for West Ham’s last academy starlet, Reece Oxford. The 17-year old is thought to have caught the attention from a whole host of professional clubs, with Louis van Gaal expressing an interest in the versatile star.
Oxford, 17, started in West Ham’s midfield for the first few games of the season, and made a great impact for Slaven Bilic’s new look side, but has since been playing plenty of reserve football.
He can play in the midfield, or even drop back into the centre of defence, which will certainly be an attractive proposition for Louis van Gaal who likes his footballers to be capable of playing in multiple positions.
The starlet will also go down as a homegrown talent as he is English, but it is a gamble as West Ham will certainly demand a high fee for him, and there is no guarantee that he will turn into a world star.
