Manchester United could appoint Ryan Giggs as boss on interim basis – report

Louis van Gaal’s days as Manchester United manager certainly look numbered at this point in time, as the fans’ confidence in the Dutchman seems to be diminishing rapidly with each passing game. Many thought he could be gone by now, but he is still holding by the skin of his teeth.

The latest reports coming out of the Guardian newspaper say that Manchester United could well employ Ryan Giggs as manager once again, on an interim basis until the end of the season.

There are obviously pluses and negatives to this. It means that we won’t be getting that huge name which some fans are craving, but there isn’t anyone in the game who knows Manchester United like Ryan Giggs does. One things for certain, if he comes in the fans will be behind him 100% no matter what. Personally I’d like to see a big name come in though, because we need to stay in that top four and ensure Champions League football.
