Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney has been struggling from the off this season, with the striker looking bereft of confidence, he even looks much more sluggish than he done in recent years. Many of the Old Trafford faithful are seemingly losing patience with the 29-year old, but they could be stuck with him for a while just yet.
According to The Sun, Adidas have offered the England international a multi-million pound deal to Wayne Rooney. Presumably to spearhead a campaign in which he’ll wear Adidas boots – to go with his new Manchester United Adidas jersey.
This could mean that we could see him at United for the foreseeable future just yet. Heck, it seems as though Louis van Gaal hasn’t even thought about dropping him whatsoever.
At the very least Wayne Rooney needs some time on the bench. The captain just doesn’t look like anywhere close to his best at the moment, and at first it was for the benefit of the team to see him dropped – now it feels cruel watching him struggle on week-in week-out.
