Manchester United could yet have another goalscoring superstar on their books

Manchester United’s academy has been known for producing some of the best talent in the country, with the club rolling out players such as David Beckham, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes – all in the space of two years.

We’ll never see anything like the Class of ’92 again, but every now and then some gems will still come from our own youth setup.

A player who has been making superb strides recently is the young striker Marcus Rashford, who is currently playing for the U18s side at United.

Rashford, 17, has an impressive 20 goals for the youth side in his 50 games at the club – a fantastic return at that age group.

With the lack of any real strength in depth in that position, Rashford could well find himself bumped up to the U21s at times this term, and if he can do it there he could follow in the footsteps of a certain James Wilson.
