Manchester United fans have been calling for Louis van Gaal’s head since before Christmas now, and at this point in time no action has been taken. However it may not be that long before we see the Dutchman sacked, particularly if a top four finish becomes mathematically impossible.
The man linked with the Old Trafford hot-seat has been Jose Mourinho, but according to Sky Sports News, PSG have jumped ahead in the race to sign him as they have already approached the Portuguese coach.
It was never going to be easy to land Mourinho, and there was always bound to be firm competition to bring him in, but if Edward Woodward and the rest of the Manchester United board are serious about Jose, they have to act fast.
