Manchester United dealt cruel injury blow before international break

Manchester United had an excellent weekend in terms of Premier League results, as Louis van Gaal’s men won their game 2-0 at home to West Brom, with plenty of rivals dropping points leaving the Old Trafford club just two points off the summit.

Off the field problems have continued to mount up though. Injuries are coming thick and fast at the moment and the latest player on the treatment table is Marouane Fellaini.

According to The Mirror, the big Belgian will miss his countries next two internationals through injury, with the extent of his problem yet to be discovered.

Hopefully it isn’t a serious issue for Fellaini. He always offers a different option from off of the bench and at times that has been important this season. Louis van Gaal clearly likes the versatility he brings to the table too, so with a bit of luck, lets hope he’s ready to go for United’s next Premier League game in a fortnight.
