Manchester United dealt two fresh injuries as Louis van Gaal confirms news

Manchester United lost 2-1 on the South Coast against AFC Bournemouth yesterday, with Louis van Gaal’s side once again looking extremely unimpressive. The loss was made even tougher when afterwards, the manager confirmed rest injuries to two players.

“Paddy McNair had cramp, he didn’t play so much this season and with Jesse Lingard it is a second time in a short time so we will have to see,” Louis van Gaal said.

“I don’t think it is because of that [injuries] we lost.”

It doesn’t look as though Paddy McNair will miss any games which is obviously good news. Its only a bit of cramp, and thats probably down to a lack of regular football recently, so he should be well enough to take on Norwich next weekend.

Jesse Lingard’s injury could be a bit of a concern, as Louis van Gaal highlighted, its his second injury in a short space of time, so he’ll probably need more time on the sidelines to recover.
