Manchester United have been forced into giving a whole host of youngsters their first team opportunities over recent weeks, with Louis van Gaal awarding minute to the likes of Nick Powell, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Paddy McNair and Jesse Lingard.
There has also been a few consecutive starts for Guillermo Varela in at the right-back slot due to particular problems in that area of the field.
However, his Manchester United dream could be short-lived and coming to an end in January, as Gazzetta Dello Sport say Napoli are keen on offering the Uruguayan a bigger contract to come and play in the Serie A.
The move will certainly be tempting for the 22-year old, because he’ll know he is only in the side down to the aforementioned injuries, whereas if he does switch he could be playing football week-in week-out to further his career as a whole.
