Manchester United defender rated as 50/50 to be fit for Leicester clash

Manchester United’s Luke Shaw was at fault for one of the Watford goals at the weekend, and we may have just discovered the reason for a sub-par performance. According to the BBC, the youngster is injured and will miss the Northampton game tomorrow evening.

However, the English media outlet go on to add that the 21-year-old is rated as 50/50 to feature at home to Leicester City on Saturday, which must be a bit of a relief for Jose Mourinho.

That area of the field must concern our new manager, because we don’t really have a quality in-depth in the full-back position. Our other option is Marcos Rojo, who definitely didn’t take his chance away at Feyenoord in the middle of the week.

Hopefully, Shaw can overcome this minor groin issue and get himself fit and firing. The champions visiting Old Trafford is an excellent opportunity to get ourselves back on track, and this would be the perfect game to send out a message to our rivals.
