Manchester United are set to be without one of their key players throughout the duration of the hectic winter schedule, according to the Daily Mirror. Marcos Rojo suffered a training ground injury this week, in which he suffered a serious shoulder injury.
The English publication go on to say that Rojo could be out for several weeks, and he may need surgery to correct the issue. Obviously the hope is that the problem will heal naturally, rather than surgery being required as that would just lengthen the time he could be out for.
It seems to be a problem for the Argentinian, as it was exactly one year to the day when he suffered a shoulder injury which kept him out of action for 28 days. Hopefully this time the issue isn’t anywhere near as serious, and we could see him back quicker.
