Manchester United drawn away to Shrewsbury in FA Cup fifth round

Manchester United have been handed a favourable draw in the FA Cup last sixteen, as Louis van Gaal’s side will the lowest ranked side left in the cup; Shrewsbury Town.

You feel that the FA Cup is Manchester United’s best chance for silverware by a country mile this season, and Louis van Gaal clearly feels that too by playing a full strength side last time around.

It has been an absolute age since we’ve been on a real cup run, and it’d be brilliant for the fans if a day out at Wembley takes place late in May. It’d certainly be a massive boost to the manager too, who is clearly struggling at the moment.

The Red Devils will play the game away from home on the weekend of 20th February, with a place in the quarter finals at stake.
