Manchester United could have just all-but confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to join the club this summer – in some sort of a cryptic manner. The Old Trafford side have announced another pre-season fixture in a rather interesting destination.
The opponents will be Galatasaray, on July 30th. However, the game will be played in Gothenburg, Sweden. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s home country.
This could well be the 34-year-old’s first game for Manchester United albeit a friendly fixture, with the influential Swede expected to have some time off following his participation in the European Championships.
Ibrahimovic has recently announced his retirement from international football, meaning he can soley focus on life at his new club.
Zlatan is believed to be all set to put pen to paper on a one-year deal at Old Trafford tomorrow, with his loyalty bonus at Paris Saint-Germain believed to be paid up as soon as the month of June ends.
What a brilliant signing this will be for Manchester United, albeit only a short-term fix. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will bring excitement back to this famous football club.
