Manchester United duo fit for Everton clash after injury scares

Manchester United have been majorly boosted ahead of one of the trickiest fixtures on the calendar – Everton away. Louis van Gaal has been handed a double injury boost, after both Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick have been passed fit for the clash.

Wayne Rooney picked up a knock in the 3-0 loss against Arsenal, whereas Michael Carrick picked up a minor problem in England training late on last week, but he has overcome that issue and is ready to go too.

Goodison Park has always been a struggle for Manchester United, and thankfully this task hasn’t been made any harder due to injuries and Louis van Gaal has an almost full squad to select from.

The fixtures will now start coming thick and fast both domestically and in European competition, so hopefully the squad can remain fully fit and not pick up too many major problems.
