Manchester United eye two surprise candidates for next manager

Manchester United could well be on the hunt for a new manager this coming summer, with Louis van Gaal’s days certainly looking numbered. The Sunday People have named two managers on top of the shortlist to take over, and its somewhat surprising.

Many say that Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Ryan Giggs are leading the way to get the job next, but the People say Mauricio Pochettino and Diego Simeone are now being mentioned as possible successors, and I have to say I quite like it.

Pochettino has worked wonders with Tottenham Hotspur over the last couple of seasons. They play attractive football, he believes in youth and most importantly, the results have been great this term.

Diego Simeone is all about results and winning trophies. His Atletico Madrid side is one of the most underrated in world football, and somehow managed to topple the dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona a couple of seasons ago.
